The ergonomic grip on this one piece steel forged hammer is comfortable enough to use all day. This 33oz tool is perfectly balanced to put the weight near the head to aid in single strike fastening.
¾” magnetic hex head is easily replaced using part number TP02087.
Magnetic hammers are designed to deliver a single blow to a nail that is held in place by the magnet. If a second blow is needed to fully seat the fastener then the hammer should be reversed and the non-magnetic face of the hammer head used. Striking a nail that is only partially driven with the magnetic face of the hammer will permanently damage it.
